RMEC has a large workshop and storage facility, hydraulic store and office premises.
RMEC, a Centurion UK Rentals & Services company, is based on a secure 2.5-acre site in Cotton of Pitkennedy by Forfar, south of Aberdeen, United Kingdom. The facility is situated in the mid-point between Dundee (Decommissioning hub) and Aberdeen (Oil & Gas Capital).
Our facility includes a large workshop, a client-dedicated internal storage facility, a large concrete-based storage yard, a secure internal hydraulic store and office premises. In addition to our workshop and offices we have two state-of-the-art hydrostatic and gas test bays capable of testing to 22,500 psi.
All internal work, such as maintenance, repair, refurbishment etc., is conducted within our modern, custom-built workshop area. The workshop is equipped with an overhead gantry crane that has a 10-ton capacity. RMEC also has a forklift capability for 16-ton lifts.
High pressure testing is carried out in a specialised under-floor high pressure test unit with remote-controlled cameras, a calibrated chart recorder and BOP controls for the secure testing of all pressure control equipment and hydraulic hoses.
There is a 2.4m high galvanised, mild-steel perimeter security fence to complement the security gates, security cameras and lighting, which are already in place and that cover all storage areas.
